In partnership with the Church Council of Greater Seattle and in alignment with the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church, QAUMC supports immigration reform and is part of the Sanctuary Movement in the Seattle Area.

Northwest Detention Center

We are supporting the hunger strike and ongoing work by activists in addressing the unjust treatment and fundamental cruelty found at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, which is privately owned and operated by the GEO Group. Justice systems should never be held in the hands of corporations or at the mercy of capitalism. Justice is not a commodity.
